FITunLtd: 4 Items to Upgrade Your Workout Game This Spring

Dharma ECO Yoga Wheel

I had my first experience on the Dharma ECO Yoga Wheel while on vacation in Mexico. The yoga instructor at The Hotel Esencia utilized it in her morning yoga class. It offered just enough support for me to concentrate on proper alignment while in spinal extension. Total backbend breakthrough. The Yoga Wheel has infinite uses that can deepen and benefit your yoga practice. Great for all levels. $69 on Dharmayogawheel.com

Ten Thousand Distance Short

These are the most comfortable and versatile shorts I own. They are the only short I have found that allows you select whether or not you want a liner (a plus if you hate the diaper-like liners that come in most running shorts). Great for the gym, teaching classes, running errands and even the beach. $58 – $68 on Tenthousand.com

Nike Epic React FlyKnit

The perfect, all-purpose, every day running shoe. Extremely supportive without being clunky, and somehow super springy and soft. I wear them for high energy cardio classes: everything from treadmill running to hip-hop dance. This is an excellent training shoe for casual runners and for cardio addicts, like me. $150 on Nike.com

Nobl St Travel Set

I am always looking for amazing post-workout personal care products, and Portland-based Nobl St has a travel set that is my new favorite. The set includes lotion, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, all in a clear zippered pouch, perfect to throw in your gym bag. The scents like Fir, Fresh Mint, Lavender and Cedar are inspired by the Pacific Northwest and all ingredients are grown and harvested locally. Paraben, sulfate and cruelty free, 1% of annual sales are donated to support nonprofit organizations focused on the environment. $36 on Noblst.com
