March Madness 2017: Where to Watch
March 16, 2017

The brackets are in, the paraphernalia has re-emerged from storage, and the remotes are at the ready for this year’s March Madness bonanza. Naturally, watering holes across the city are honoring college basketball’s most revered event with big screens and equally sizeable food and drink specials on offer, so without further ado, here are our concierge-curated NCAA Division picks for your viewing pleasure:

FISHBOWL and PHD Terrace at Dream Midtown

Both of these Dream Midtown drinking destinations will be opening their doors earlier than usual today and tomorrow to accommodate fans of all 68 NCAA teams, so head to FISHBOWL any time after 12pm today (3/16) and tomorrow (3/17) or PHD Terrace from 4pm onward today and 1pm onward tomorrow. The March Madness menu inclides $30 beer buckets (six Budweisers or Budweiser Lights) along with $10 wing baskets, available in pineapple citrus, BBQ Sriracha, or Thai sweet and tangy.

210 West 55th Street (inside Dream Midtown)

Atwood Kitchen & Bar Room

This Midtown East gem never disappoints, especially when it comes to sports gatherings. Head here for $15 Bud Light pitchers, $25 Bud Light or Stella buckets, $8 beer and shot combos, craft cocktails, and of course, hot honey-glazed chicken among other seasonal menu faves.

986 Second Avenue

Boulton & Watt

Downtown’s chicest gastropub will be serving up $7 draft beers and $9 house picklebacks alongside its usual menu of craft cocktails and food, so grab a table and open up a tab while the games play out into the evening.
